Happy New Year!!!

We asked Anna Claire if she wanted fireworks and she said no, but decided we could do some sparklers. After Grandaddy lit the first one both girls were ready to go inside. Anna Claire would not even hold one with me, and Gracie was crying saying "inside, inside". Maybe next year they will like them better. We hope everyone has a great 2009!

Wednesday morning the girls and I hosted a Cookie Decorating Party for the auxiliary playgroup. Everyone had a great time with frosting and sprinkles.

Visit with Santa

This morning we went to see Santa. Anna Claire was a little hesitant, but decided she would sit with him. Gracie did not want to sit at all. She did stop screaming for the picture, but there were no smiles until I was holding her and she told "Ho Ho", "bye, bye". Anna Claire said she wants a highchair for her baby and a stuffed animal. Santa suggested a brown horse. So Anna Claire told me when we got home that she was getting a brown horse because that is what Santa said! Gee thanks Santa!

The Tale of the Drowsy Shepherd

Anna Claire was in a Christmas play at church on Sunday. She was a little shepherd. All the children did a great job singing and dancing. When they were finished Anna Claire asked couldn't they do it just one more time!

Bahama Christmas Parade

This morning we were lined up in the freezing cold for the parade. We rode on a float with Anna Claire's dance academy. The girls had a great time waving and throwing candy!
