Pool Time!

The girls have finally caught up from their sleep deprivation and are much happier now. We are having so much fun playing with everyone. We have one more day here in Camden and then are headed to the beach. We are very excited! The girls have been working on their swimming skills so they will be ready when we arrive. Anna Claire is pretty comfortable in her ring just as long as there is no threat of her going under! Gracie, on the other hand, doesn't care at all. She jumps in and goes under all the time. She is also learning to swim in her ring. She is doing great. She may be swimming before Anna Claire!
We celebrated Fourth of July at the park watching firworks!

The Drive

Friday we left around 11:30 and drove to Atlanta. Anna Claire told me she was ready to get out oh, about 100 times, and Gracie had a few screaming moments but, they did great. We made it to Nina's house around 7:00 and had so much fun. Nina volunteered to keep my girls so that Courtney and I could go to dinner. It was great to catch up and enjoy a dinner out with no kids! (Thank you so much, Nina!) Not only did I have fun, but Anna Claire has been talking about playing with Nina's kid's non-stop! She was so excited to get to play with the big girls!

Jessica, Anna Claire, and Anna

Saturday morning we went to the pool and then headed to Alabama! It took us about 5 hours with a couple stops, and the girls slept most of the way. When we got home we hurried to get ready for the firework show. Right when we got there it started to storm, but blew over pretty quickly so they still shot the fireworks. We enjoyed a snow cone and hamburger as the loud pops of the fireworks scared the girls! It was a fun night even with the rain and loud noise! The girls were so excited to see everyone I didn't get them to bed until 12am!

Superheroes or Batgirl?

Today Anna Claire spent the day with one of her best friends, Timmy. I got an email with these pictures from his mother and could not stop laughing. It looks like they had a great time. That mama sure is creative! She called them superheroes, but Timmy called himself batman and Anna Claire batgirl!

Gracie and I spent the morning packing and playing with Ian. This afternoon we went for an earcheck for a previous infection. Looks like there is still fluid, but it is clear. We are going to give it a few more weeks, and then we may go for tubes if it doesn't clear on its own. The good thing is it doesn't seem to be bothering her right now.

We are all packed and ready for our big trip! We are leaving in the morning and can't wait to see everyone.

Yesterday the girls had pictures, and did a great job. I posted a slideshow of them at the bottom of the page.

Hopper's House

This morning while getting ready for playgroup, Anna Claire was playing Gracie a tune. They were so cute playing together. Anna Claire really loves anything musical. I find her singing, dancing, playing the piano, and strumming the guitar all of the time! And I think Gracie is following her footsteps. She is always right up under Anna Claire, whatever she is doing! As Anna Claire played the piano Gracie clapped along, when she wasn't feeding her baby.

The girl's were so excited because we were going back to Hopper's House today. They love all the fun things to do there, from bounce houses and air hockey to sand and chalk! Some other friends were there and everyone had a great time, but boy were they exhausted when we got home. Gracie was asleep in the car before we could even get on the road.

The big slide!

Nice for a little rest.

Dress up time with Timmy.

If you look closely, you can see where I wrote my name!

Summer Lazy Days

Today is not a very eventful day unless you count Anna Claire's new acomplishment that she is soooo proud of. At lunch everyone is eating and Anna Claire announces "Hey mommy, you know what I can do?" and of course I ask what and she continues with, "I can make these crackers do flips in my mouth with my tongue." Then she proceeds to show us how to do it.

She is also constantly wanting to take pictures with my camera. As I was looking at what pictures to post she said to add this one. Can you tell what it is????

What is it?

She also wanted me to take this picture of her and her monkey.
Boy, three year olds are so funny!

Little Mommy

Little Mommy!

Gracie has been pushing the stroller everywhere.
Hey, she must watch her Mommy. Holding one baby while pushing the other!

I can't remember when Anna Claire started using a fork, but wow Gracie is doing GREAT!! She tries to eat everything with hers, even goldfish!

And for all our Alabama friends and family. The countdown is on. Five more days until we are in Camden! Anna Claire already has like 4 bags all packed and she is ready. This will be the first time I drive home with the girls by myself. We are leaving on Friday and stopping in Atlanta which is about half way. We are meeting Courtney, my best friend, and staying at her sister's house. I can't wait to see her! It has been too long! Then Saturday we will drive on to Camden.

Weekend Visitors

Anna Claire, Gracie, and Kaylee Beth

This weekend Homer, Allison, and Kaylee Beth came to visit. Homer was Kim's best man in our wedding. Great Friends with a new beautiful little girl! Anna Claire was in heaven the whole weekend and I think Kim even enjoyed having a tiny one sleep on his chest again. Allison and I got to go shopping a little while on Saturday afternoon while the daddies kept the girls! Homer and Kim went to a concert last night, and this morning we enjoyed laying around playing.

The Girls!

Anna Claire loved holding her. She would just talk to her and kept saying,

"Mommy she is just so cute."

Maybe he could get baby fever?

Sweet Sisters

Anna Claire

Gracie

These are the last pictures we had taken of the girls. Anna Claire is now 3 and Gracie is 1.

New to the Blogging World!

Lots of my friends have blogs and I love reading them, so I decided I would join the fun and fill you in on the adventures of our family. This way maybe I too can keep up with everything so that when I finally get back to scrapbooking, it will be easy. And also for those of you who I usually email pictures to, well this will be where they will be. Sorry, but not many more emails. I will post the pictures here and you can look if you would like. This way I won't be filling up your inbox with pictures of my girls, right!!! So that is all for now. I am going to try and figure out how to add some pictures. Talk to you later.
