Gracie Goes to K-4...

Anna Claire has been asking if she could take Gracie to "Show and Share" at school, and today was the day. She told them, "This is my sister." "Her name is Gracie, and she is 2 and 1/2." "She will be 3 in March." She was so proud to have her sister there. After her turn, they sat together and listened to see what her classmates brought. They were both so excited!

Gracie is practicing her drawing skills. She is beginning to color objects purposefully rather than scribbling everywhere. The top is her signature. We might not can read it, but she is confident in writing her name!

Anna Claire's K-4 Valentine's Party

The party was scheduled for Friday, but canceled because of the snow day! Monday, the children were out of school for President's Day, so the party was today. The room was decorated in red hearts, plates were filled with cookies and candy, and the children enjoyed passing out Valentines to all their friends. They had a great party!

A Little Taste of Mardi Gras

We came to Fairhope to visit grandparents, and went to a parade. The girls were scared at first, but the first float threw two stuffed animals right to them and they were scared no more! They got the biggest smiles on their faces and were constantly gathering animals, beads, and cups. They could not believe all the junk coming at them and were full of excited giggles.

This is just a touch of what we brought home.

A Few More...

We went to Memama's house hoping to do a little sledding down the hill in the back yard, but no luck. The snow was just too wet and the "sled" (aka rubbermaid lid) would not slide. The girls rolled the snow down the hill and made big balls!
Gran and Grandaddy also made a snowman.

And they played a little chase.
