Alabama Weekend Fun

Thursday, Christie and I packed up our children and headed to Alabama. Christie had a wedding on Saturday in Birmingham, so the girls and I caught a ride to visit the Daileys. Sunday I headed back home with Christie and her boys. The girls will come back with Grandaddy, Gran and KiKi on Wednesday. David is flying in also and we will celebrate Thanksgiving in Salisbury. Friday we will shop all day!

Anna Claire and Timmy all dressed up!

Gracie and Clark dancing to the "singing frog".

Fun with playdough!

Super Cats!

Saturday evening we went to a super-hero birthday party. All the kids dressed up as their favorite heros. The girls prefer princesses so they went as cats with capes. They loved their ears and tails, and actually wore them for most of the party!

Halloween Fun

Last night we started off the evening with a little trick or treating around the neighborhood. Anna Claire wanted to go to four houses, so that is what we did. Then we went on to the church for Holyween. The girls played games such as ring toss, bean bag throw, and go fish to win tickets for a prize at the end of the night. We ate a hotdog and then went outside for trunk or treat. The girls came home with way to much candy! We had a great time.

Carving Pumpkins

Last night Kim and the girls carved the pumpkin. Anna Claire wanted circle eyes and a smiling mouth. When they were all done Gracie decided it was too scary for her.

Preschool Halloween Party

This morning Anna Claire was so excited to go fishing, give a pumpkin hair, and bowl with pumpkins at her preschool pumpkin patch party. They also had ring tossing, bobbing for apples, and coloring. They ended the party by picking out a little pumpkin from the pumkin patch. All the kids had a great time.

Playgroup Halloween Party

This morning the kids dressed up to party.
They painted pumpkins and played.
For those of you wondering, yes I let Anna Claire win the battle this morning and be Tinkerbell. She promised me on Friday she would be the Mexican Princess.

Day 7 & 8

We enjoyed one more day on the lake. We played horseshoes, rode the jet skis, took a ride on the party boat, and grilled fajitas. Kim got pretty good at playing horseshoes.

Saturday morning we went to the Mexican market and walked around a little while. That afternoon Terry and I hit the San Marcos outlets while the girls played at home.

Anna Claire and Ashley played so well all week. They were so excited to spend a week together, and both cried when it was time for us to leave.

Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock

Day 6

On Thursday the weather was a little cooler so we headed up to Fredericksburg to walk around downtown. We visited the shops and had lunch before we headed up to Enchanted Rock. We hiked to the top, including Anna Claire, she did a great job. It was so pretty.

Lake McQueeney

Day 4 and 5

We headed to Lake McQueeney, Texas. We stayed at our friends' relatives' lake house. It was wonderful. The weather was great for jet skiing, swimming, paddle-boating, bean bag tossing, and grilling out! What a relaxing couple of days.

This morning Kim and Chris went to Canyon Lake, while the girls stayed home to play. Later that afternoon the big girls went shopping while the Daddies stayed home with all the little girls. That evening we went to our favorite resturaunt, Alamo Cafe!
